Dear ISIA members,

We invite you to the ISIA WORLD FORUM 2022. As a follow-up to the ISIA World Championships, the ISIA Presidium has developed a new worldwide, common, modern event specifically adapted to the needs of snow sport professionals and to the diversity of snow sport teaching, representing the three basic principles of ISIA: Quality, Professionalism and Community.

For 4 days, snow sport professionals from the 37 ISIA member nations and international representatives from the snow sport industry, ski resorts, authorities, snow sport schools, customers as well as snow sport instructors will meet for discussions, workshops and on-piste events. Each nation is setting up its own delegation and the wish is that in these delegations there are not only snow sport instructors and association representatives, but as many experts as possible, to whom we want to show what attractive ideas and concepts we have, what high quality characterizes us in skiing and teaching and what great importance our business has in the whole winter tourism.

The 1st ISIA WORLD FORUM 2022 will take place from 03. to 08. April 2022 in the 3 Zinnen Dolomites region. Our base will be in Sesto. The World Forum will be organized together with Snowsport Southtyrol, local tourism officials, the 3 Zinnen Dolomites cable car association and the local Sesto Dolomites ski school. Of course, at our Forum we also crown Ski Instructors World Champions, in new categories and new competitions:

– ISIA Ski instructors World Champion “TEACHING” in gold, silver, bronze.
– ISIA Ski instructors World Champion “PERFORMANCE” in gold, silver, bronze
– ISIA Ski instructors World Champion “RACING” in gold, silver, bronze

The main focus at the 1^st ISIA WORLD FORUM 2022 will be on the discipline Alpine Skiing, as this is the main focus of our activity and we do not have much time for the organization. The other snow sports disciplines Snowboard, Telemark and Cross Country Skiing can be added to the program if there is enough interest from the member associations.

All important information, the competitions with their rules and the program is described in detail in the following document. Afterwards, also in Sesto, the ISIA Assembly of Delegates with the election of the Presidium will take place on April 9^th, 2022.

1st ISIA WORLD FORUM 2022

Especially for the ISIA WORLD FORUM the website www.isiaskiworldforum.com is currently being developed. On this site not only all contents and the program will be available, but also the registration of the participants by the nations will be possible, all details for the organization and administration of all participants will be available and the voting for the individual competitions will be possible. Registration of nations and individual participants will probably be possible directly on this website from the beginning of December 2021. At the start, each member nation will receive a message by e-mail with their access data. Deadline for registration for the ISIA WF 22 is January 31^st, 2022.
