Rules for issuing ISIA stamps and cards
The Rules for issuing ISIA stamps and ISIA cards govern the right of ski instructors to use the ISIA stamp and ISIA card.

§ 1 Stamp protection
The ISIA is identified by the logo “ISIA” in the Swiss registry of trademarks under no. 422486.
§ 2 Use of the stamp
The ISIA stamp may only be used by member associations and any ski schools and ski instructors belonging to them.
Member associations, ski schools and ski instructors may only use the ISIA stamp in conjunction with their association or ski instructor badge.
The ISIA stamp may be worn on the instructor’s uniform, and may also be reproduced on letterheads, printed papers, vehicles, transparencies and signs of the member associations, ski schools and ski instructors.
Any other use of the stamp requires the approval of the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee is at liberty to confer limited rights to the stamp on third parties in cooperation and sponsorship agreements.
Member associations, ski schools or ski instructors who use the ISIA stamp in contravention of these rules may have their rights to its use withdrawn by the Executive Committee.
§ 3 ISIA stamp and ISIA card
3.1. ISIA maintains a database of all ski and snow sports instructors who hold the ISIA card; member associations are to pass the latest updated details of their ski instructors on to ISIA on an annual basis.
3.2 Member associations will receive:
a) a stamp of membership (ISIA stamp) corresponding to the number of
“ISIA Level 2” registered ski instructors
b) a membership card (ISIA card) corresponding to the number of “ISIA
Level 1” (highest level) registered ski instructors
3.3 Member associations will only pass the ISIA stamp and ISIA card on to those of their ski instructors who have achieved the ISIA quality standard for the stamp or card (please refer to the rules regarding ISIA quality standard).
§ 4 Infringements and sanctions
In the event of proven infringements of these regulations, a member association may have its right to procurement of the ISIA stamp and ISIA card withdrawn by the Executive Committee.
