All the leaves have fallen off the trees and the first snow in the mountains is already being prepared for the next season.
Event on January 19th, 2015, in Pec pod Sněžkou
As already announced, we will be holding, in January, an ISIA Event in Pec pod Sněžkou (Czech Republic). It will take place from January, 18th to January, 20th, 2015. Additionally, the Presidium will organise a meeting of the Executive Committee on January 18th, 2015. On January 19th, 2015, there will be a Workshop where the following themes will be explored:
1) Measures for encouraging snow sports
How to acquire new customers on the pistes?
2) ISIA Database Information and uploading to the Internet
3) Information about the INTERSKI Congress 2015, Ushuaia Martin Bacer, Vice-President of the ISIA for America, will inform us about the programme and the workings of the INTERSKI Congress in Ushuaia.
4) Information about the ISIA Team Event at the INTERSKI Congress 2015
With this event, the ISIA desires to strengthen the community spirit of the Interski family. In other words, the 4-person teams (16 teams in total – 1 team comprises three Men and one Woman) shall be composed from the participants of different countries. At the beginning of the week, there will be a qualifying round. All Demonstrators are allowed to take part in this round. Each participating country will receive a pre-determined starting position. However, this position is only guaranteed if the country has previously taken place in the qualifying round. The balance of the total positions will be given after the qualification round. It is possible that some countries will only have one position while others may have several positions. According to the INTERSKI Programme, the qualifying round will take place on Monday, the 16th finals on Tuesday, the 8th and the quarter finals on Wednesday. There will be a break on Thursday. The semi-finals and the final will take place on Friday. Draft version of rules enclosed.
ISIA Test
On January 20th, 2015, an ISIA Test will take place (Giant Slalom). Jiri Kotaska is responsible for the organisation and the execution of the test. We ask the countries interested in the test to directly contact Jiri Kotaska (jpksport@hr.bon.cz). Participants should contact him directly. We ask you to please inform us about your ISIA Test results so that they may be posted on our website’s homepage. See also example
List of qualifications
Please find enclosed the ISIA qualifications list for the season 2014-2015. This list shows the ISIA Levels (ISIA Stamp / ISIA Card) of all ISIA members. Any corrections to your qualifications must be communicated to Vittorio Caffi, Head of Technical Commission, no later than December 15th, 2014. As soon as the list has been finalised, it will be sent to the ski lift companies. This will provide them with an appropriate overview of our diplomas. This list can also be found on our website.
Card Update
The reverse side of the ISIA Card has been updated. It now comprises the flags of all 40 member countries.
All countries that possess the ISIA Status “ISIA Card” and that are able to print the cards themselves can request the new version from
the office in Belp. Please let us know the preferred format (pdf or eps).

The ISIA badges may be ordered from the office in Belp (info@isia.ski).

ISIA Golf World Championship 2015 in Divonne (France), 4th – 6th October 2015
The first edition of the ISIA Golf World Championship in Interlaken was a success. The committee of the ISIA and the organizers have chosen Divonne (Lake of Geneva in France) for next year championship. All the information for the registration will be published in spring 2015. We kindly ask everybody interested to check the dates in the agenda already now!
